Business & Brand Foundations — a few questions to get things started
There are no wrong answers here. Just pick whatever feels closest to true for you, or leave a note if you're not sure yet. Anything unfamiliar has a short explanation under the question.
This is called your "niche." It just means the specific type of customer you focus on, instead of trying to serve everyone. A clear niche makes it much easier to find clients and to explain what you do.
This is your "service" or "offer" — the actual work you'll be paid to do. You can pick more than one, but it's usually best to start with one or two so you can get really good at them first.
This is your "business model" — how you charge and deliver your service.
This helps us design a logo and visual identity that actually feels like you, instead of guessing.
This is your "brand personality." Think about how you want a potential client to feel the moment they see your logo, before they even read a word.
Colors carry meaning. Blue and navy tend to feel trustworthy and corporate. Purple often signals innovation and technology. Green can suggest growth or clarity. Black and gold suggest premium/high-end. Pick the feeling you want, not just a color you personally like to wear.
A wordmark is just your business name styled nicely (like Google). An icon/symbol mark is a small graphic (like Nike's swoosh). A combination mark uses both, and is the most common choice for new businesses.
This can be any brand at all, not just AI or tech companies — it helps us understand your taste.
A tagline is a short phrase under a business name that sums up what you do (for example, "Nike: Just Do It"). This is optional, and we can help write one if you're unsure.
Totally fine to be honest here. It helps us prioritize what to explain first.
